German NatureFilm Prize 2017
For Best Script
Quote of the jury:
„The film conveys the most recent research about migrating birds in a dramaturgical thrilling and touching way. We accompany single birds from their birth to their flight over the continents.
The book tells humorous and personal stories and connects these artfully with fascinating findings and still undiscovered secrets about the flight of migrating birds.“
